WHAT A PAIN!

The last few days we have been moving. Our AC is being remodeled, so they relocated us a block away. I can't complain too much, I didn't have to lift a single thing, the Japanese movers took care of all of that. But reorganizing closets and putting pictures up on the wall has been 3 full days. Moving always provides an opportunity to de-junk and reorganize and we did plenty of that.

Thursday Becky ran in a race. She ran a 10k, took second. She got beat by some Japanese lady with legs half as long. She wasn't very happy about it. She brought home another HAT (huge _$$ trophy), she is accumulating quite a collection.

The girls had parent teacher conference last week. Their teachers had a lot of really nice things to say about them. Emma is in fourth grade but is in a 4/5 split class, and Sarah is in 2nd grade and is in a 1/2/3 split class. Although Emma has a plethora of talents, academics doesn't come easily for her. Becky and I work with her every night, we are still waiting for a few things to click for her.

Today was church. Becky was sick in order to catch up around the house. I came home and grabbed the kids after meetings and before sacrament. I sat in the congregation with the kids. We spent probably 30 minutes of sacrament meeting in the bathroom. Isaac had to drop a deuce which took about 15 minutes, and then Jake took his turn for another 15 minutes. While Jake was going Isaac sat on the floor of the stall by his side. Those boys have NEVER sat so still during sacrament meeting. I think we should install a speaker in there.
