I love Yochien!!
What a weekend. Nice to have half my kids back in school today. The boys are on Japanese holiday today, so I'm swapping in a few minutes to go run. Saturday Adam and I were running together, kids with a sitter at home, and we stopped at the gym for a potty/drink break. While in the gym we ran into the flight surgion, who took one look at Adam and said, "What is on your face?" Adam said, "I don't know doc, you tell me". He told him he was positive it was a staff infection and needed antibiotics. We have all been taking turns with these runnaway zit/bite looking things for the past month!! I took the boys and I all in about a month ago, we all had one at the same time, totally painful, anyway, was sent away told it was just a bite. Since then Isaac's had 3 more, and me 1 more, and Adam his first. Whenever Adam gets something, it's not just a little thing, it's like 10x worse than when the rest of us get it. And that's how his face has been this weekend. Kinda looked like he has a dinosaur egg in his cheek, I measured it Saturday night at 4 inches in diameter. Anyway, he's doubled up on the antibiotics, and hopefully will get better soon.
So Adam missed church yesterday, so I got to do it all by myself. Spent most of Sacrament meeting nursing and in the bathroom with Jacob. Not quite sure what the rest of them were doing, pretty sure I don't want to know from the reports I was getting from Sarah. We don't have a nursing room in our new church, somehow it got left off of the plans, pretty sure it was a MALE who drew up the plans. Anyway, no nursing room, just suposed to use the relief society room, which has a glass window in the door. Yesterday I was in there nursing Luke, and got busted in on to get the sacrament. It was a nice offer, but really when I'm nursing in the "mother's lounge", I just figure I"m going to have to miss the sacrament. Needless to say, my husband has been given strict instructions to figure out a better mothers lounge.
So after sacrament mtg I got to start my new calling as Sunbeam teacher. Just what a mother of 5 wants to do after surviving sacrament mtg. I really am trying to have a good attitude though.
After church we went straight to Yochien to see the boys artwork on display. It is sooo amazing what the Japanese can do with trash!! They are so incredibly creative!! You can see for yourself in the pics!! I love Yochien!!
The boys were able to take alot of their artwork home, and as soon as we walked in the door, they ran upstairs to start decorating their room. A little while later I got Luke to sleep, and laid him down in his crib, in their room. I told the boys they'd have to stay out for a while, and go play somewhere else. I laid down. About 15 minutes later I heard Luke screaming and the boys back to their decorating. I went in their and got after the boys, and told Isaac he might have to have a spanking, that I was really mad, but that I'd talk to Dad about it. Then I went back to laying down on my bed, with Luke this time. About 5 minutes later Isaac came into my room and announced, "Mom, if you have to give me a spanking, I'm going to have to take your gum away!". (He had given me gum earlier that I was still chewing.)
So Duchess chewed up my bra this morning. It is the 2nd time she's done that. The first one was only a $20 bra though, and this morning's was a $50 Victoria Secret. She really doesn't chew up too much, a toy here or there, but she's really pretty good for a puppy. Chewing up my bras is totally crossing the line though!!

wow - a staph infection! those are kinda bad arent they! YIKES!!
beware, adam may get a yeast infection after he's done with all his antibiotics..that happens to jon and most men..they get a filmy white stuff on their jewels..so find some montistate cream or something to help with that!!! jons got it right now..not cute for a man!!!
oh i HATE when the deacons come into the lounge that SAYS MOTHERS LOUNGE on it even!!! WHY??
and WHAT??? they called you to sunbeam?!??!?! so not right..i feel for you!!
I know, I couldn't even talk about it for about a week. Why?? The best part is that Isaac graduates from sunbeams in a month, and Jacob doesn't come in for another year. hello--if I'm going to teach a primary class, may as well be one of my kids' class!! This one was desparation, not inspiration.
Stupid work computer won't let me create an account so I have to leave anonymous comments. My work blocks the most random sites. Anyways, I don't believe that adam has a bump 4 inches in diameter on his face. I need to see a picture.
