I guess I am blogging quarterly now. Bad mom. I'm going to try harder, it really doesn't take that long to put a few pictures and updates on! We have been BUSY turning the attic into our dream master suite the last few months, and hope to finish very soon--we need to get the house on the market! For rent or sale, we really don't even care at this point! I'll post pics soon, we're so close, I just want to post finished product pics now.
So for a few Workman Family updates....
Sarah took 3rd in state at a USA gymnastics meet a few weeks ago!!! It was a fun day, I love watching her, although I get nervous. Her best was on bars, she got a 9.3. Bars are her favorite event.

After her meet we were all STARVED. I have heard a lot of good things about the mexican restaurants in Providence, so we decided to try to find some. We don't really know our way around Providence, but had the GPS, so just started driving around. The areas we kept finding oursleves in looked a little sketchy, but we were starved and decided it was fine. At the first one we stopped at, we piled out of the Suburban, locked ALL the doors, and started walking in on all sides of Adam. Every head on the street turned, and as we got closer, we realized it was more of a bakery, and made a mad dash back for the car. The next one we found we hoped was in a little better part of town. It looked mexican to us, spanish writing on the outside, but I didn't recognize the flag out front, hoping all Latino food would have bottomless chips and salsa. We got in, sat down, and were given some menus. It was a Guatamalan restaurant. The picture on the front of the menu had a fish head and boiled eggs, and no sign of chips and salsa anywhere. We were out of there. The kids all decided McDonald's sounded awesome, and begged us to find one. I begged Adam just to get on the freeway and we'd stop at the first Chilis. At least there we'd get bottomless chips and salsa! At this point the kids were getting to the past hunger stage, so Adam drove on. And happy ending to this story, we enjoyed a fabulous meal together at Chilis. Thank you Chili's, for coming through yet once again!
