Saturday sports day! Last Saturday my dad and Kim were able to experience a Saturday sports day at the Workman's. It actually worked out perfectly--everything was at the YMCA, we just ran back and forth from events and caught it all! And I have such great pics from Sarah's meet, I love it! Normally I don't get very good pics while trying to video and take care of the boys at the same time. But having my dad there was like having brought a long a professional photographer, it was great!!
In this pic, it looks like Sarah is balanced up on top of the bar, but actually she just has that much air on the beam! Look at the ponytail to prove it!

This was a YMCA state meet, and Sarah took 1st in all of her events, and 1st all around!! Go Sarah!!

Bars are Sarah's favorite.
Look at that ponytail!
During the middle of the meet, we ran outside to catch Isaac's triathalon. He really needs a better bike, but passed a lot of kids on the run.
And then inside for the swim. Freestyle wasn't working out so good, so a quick flip over for backstroke.
And then Emma's tri. Adam was a little more than irritated that this boy behind her drafted off of her the entire way. I know, sounds silly, he must not be meaning to, right? But he was inches behind her the entire way, and if she zigged, he zigged, if she zagged, he zagged. Pretty sure he knew what he was doing. Drafting is against the rules in tri's, but they didn't explain that rule to the kids....

Back to Sarah's meet.
And more great action shots thanks to Grandpa!! Thanks Dad!

This pretty much describes every Saturday around here. Fun, I LOVE it, but when are we supposed to finish up this dang house and get it for sale?? I need help from the house remodeling fairy....

That is so crazy!! I'm a little jealous that your kids do so much, but then I think, I don't want to be driving mine all over, and that's why I refuse to let them do anything fun. Maybe next year.....
