Team Workman waiting for us at mile 19, the start of heartbreak hill, was an awesome boost!! My dad and Kim had helped the kids secretly make these shirts, our only clue was: "Mom, look for yellow!" Our friends, the Truscotts, were cheering us on about a 1/2 mile before the kids too. I've never known a single person cheering for me before, it was the BEST! I also had written my name w/a sharpie on each of my arms, so I heard a lot of "go Becky" and "you can do it Becky" this time. The Boston crowd was so amazing. The ENTIRE 26.2 miles of route was lined with spectators cheering and handing out drinks, treats, and high fives. At mile 2 I even got emotional because of the crowd! Weird, I know, I've never done that before. The weather couldn't have been more perfect, 58 degrees with a tiny bit of crosswind for AC.
"Team Workman", the kids each have their team number (birth order) on their back.

Why does Sarah have the heavier brother on her shoulders?

Adam left in the first wave of runners, so he was the first to see the "yellow". He saw them from a ways back and approached them with a grin from ear to ear.

High fives for everyone!!

Wish we could stay and chat, but gotta keep going!

I saw the "yellow" and had to quickly cross over to the other side of the street, almost taking out a few people. A slap on the head for Jake who was looking right past me, a quick high five and "I love you!" and I was on my way. It was just the boost I needed to get up heart break hill!!

Thank you Dad and Kim!!! It was soo fun to have you and the kids there!!!
